The Prepurchase inspection is a pilot and client defined inspection typically done on an aircraft before purchase. The inspection can be a thorough as an annual and as measly as a glance over the aircraft. The purpose is to locate any unknown problems with the aircraft before buying it, and to define the overall quality of the plane.

When purchasing an aircraft from a manufacturer or taking delivery after retrofit the acceptance inspection is often divided into two parts. The first part is done when the baseline aircraft, also known as the green aircraft, is delivered and the title transfer may occur. The second part is done after completion services and customization have concluded and the aircraft is at final delivery with all rectifications ensured. We carry out these inspections independently or as a part of the customer’s team.
